Also known as the Pandemic Special in our house *insert obnoxious laugh*! The idea came to my hungry husband when we were out of fresh food, buns, AND MONEY one night. We always keep a stock of canned and frozen staple foods in the pantry just in case… well you know. So there we were, left only with what we can scrounge up and it actually worked out! This Super Simple Shepherd’s Pie is one of our main meals now. Check out all the ingredients (that you probably already have) plus the 30 minute or less meal cooking process below. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- Frozen or canned:
- carrots
- peas
- corn
- Package of instant mashed potatoes
- 3 frozen beef patties
- Burger seasoning:
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- shredded cheddar cheese
Cooking
- Heat pan to med/high then brown and ground for about 8 min. Season to taste.
- While browning meat, heat vegetables and boil water to mix in mashed potatoes.
- Put the beef in bottom of 9×9 oven safe dish. Add veggies an top of beef. Add mashed potatoes on top of veggies and top off with shredded cheddar.
- Broil shepherd’s pie dish on high for 5 min or until cheese starts to cook.
Serve and Enjoy!

This is def the quickest and easiest shepherds pie recipe I’ve seen! I love Shepard pie so I’m saving this to try.
