Like with most kids, back to school accessories are a huge motivator for a positive educational experience. It’s no different for my toddler and our Homeschool Preschool routine. To get her used to a morning of structure, we use accessories like a backpack, lunchbox, and even socks to prep her learning materials and mind.

For Homeschool Preschool Prep
While these are a great option for traditional school, we are using it to prep our Homeschool Preschool materials. After each day of learning we “pack up” with everything we need for the following day, keeping it organized and out of the way. Each morning, my toddler gets ready, grabs her backpack, brings it to the table and unpacks for the lesson. It gets her in the mindset to learn and used to a more structured routine. Plus, she gets excited about “going to school” like her older cousins. We are using the lunchbox for more learning resource storage, but on harder days, I actually pack a lunch for my daughter to give her an extra fun boost!
Some daily essentials we keep packed are:
- pencil box with pencils, markers, dot paints
- Zoobooks magazine
- folder for the worksheet of the day
- flashcards
- alphabet and number book
- molding clay
- Learning resources Bento Box Game (for lunch LOL)
