Cardboard Candy Printable Download:
I used these printables to create sturdy, cardboard candies for my daughter’s pretend play store. Printing them out was much easier than drawing or painting on the cardboard. Plus, when they get worn, I can always print more. Easy peasy!
- Print on cardstock (I used lunchbox cardstock to match the cardboard).
- Cut out candy printables.
- Hot glue to a scrap piece of cardboard.
- Cut carboard along edge of candy printable.
- Glue the reverse candy image to the back of the cardboard.
TIP: Be sure to print both pages. They are reverse images to each other so that they align along the edges when glued to opposite sides of the cardboard.
Recycled Lollipop Printable Download:
Instead of cardboard for these lollipops, I recycled some plastic grocery bags to fill and give them some dimension. I also added wooden dowels from Dollar Tree to make them more realistic and sturdy. Check it out!
- Print on cardstock.
- Cut out lollipop printables.
- Hot glue the edges together leaving an opening at the bottom.
- Fill with pieces of plastic grocery bag.
- Cut off stick part of lollipop and replace with a wooden dowel.
- Hot glue in place and around opening to close it all up.
